FAQ’s

We aim to ensure that expectant parents are put into groups in their chosen location with those expecting at a similar time to them (ideally within 4 weeks).
We are very fortunate to partner with Daisy First Aid in the majority of our locations which means that every course has a First Aid class included in the course price.

Yes! We are keen to give expectant parents first-hand experiences so, face-to-face sessions include nappy changing, dressing and bathing sessions.

As well as a range of exercises designed to get you thinking and talking about different aspects of
labour

One of the main ways we are unique is that we spend equal time on postnatal topics as we do talking about labour and birth. In addition, as we are not affiliated with any external organisation, so we are able to provide non-biased, up to date information on every aspect of your parenting journey.

We have recordings of each session, so if you are unable to attend one evening, for whatever reason, we can send it out to you. In addition, each client receives a comprehensive “Course Companion” with written information on everything covered on the course plus additional information too.

We take a maximum of 9 couples per course and a minimum of 5. Most courses have on average 6-9 couples.

The cost of each course includes the place (birth partners attend free but we do encourage you to bring whoever will be supporting you at the birth) the Course Companion, 6 antenatal sessions + first aid session, full telephone/email support up until the birth of your baby and in the early postnatal period, access to further educational resources and a post birth reunion, usually when the youngest baby is around 6 weeks old.
We encourage you to book your place after your 12 week scan as courses book up very quickly.

As we are now back to face-to-face classes we ask our teachers to test before teaching and encourage our clients to do so if possible.

The venues are well ventilated with hand washing facilities and all snacks are individually wrapped.

We also ask that if anyone is feeling unwell (even if their symptoms aren’t covid related) to stay away from class as we can easily send you the pre-recorded session so you won’t miss any important information.

We average around 3 courses a month so currently around 36 courses per year.
